The recent changes to the 2012 WTCC calendar also affected the European Touring Car Cup scheduled. An event at the modern Slovakia Ring on April 29 will replace the one that was due to happen in Valencia on April 1. Close to Bratislava, Slovak Republic’s capital city, the Slovakia Ring was inaugurated in 2009.
